Workshop April 16 2015
Workshop Meeting of the Ohio Town Board was held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the Town Office
The following Officials were present:
Supervisor: Scott Bagetis
Town Clerk: Sandra Gates
Councilmembers: George Lawson, Ed Luther, Jason Maher and Gordon Roark
Highway Superintendent: Jim Nightingale
Also present: Attorney Karen Mowers, Codes Enforcement Officer Jeff Greene and Richard Wright
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Bagetis at 7:00 PM.
Pledge of Allegiance was said by all.
ATV LOCAL LAW #2-2015: The partial opening of the following Roads were discussed:
Hooper Dooper Lane
Five Acres Lane
Richard Wright and Gordon Roark will try to get some more signatures.
Supervisor Bagetis stated he has finished the site surveys and there are no environmental impacts on any of the roads.
HIGHWAY: Nightingale contacted CHIPS and is waiting for approval for the purchase of the Everest Dump Box. Councilmember Lawson made a motion to approve the purchase if CHIPS approves it, second by Councilmember Luther. So carried.
The motor for the sweeper is not working. A new motor will cost $1,800.00 and a 52 day wait for delivery. The highway employees will try to modify the motor. Nightingale will rent a sweeper for a week to get the roads cleaned, at approximately $1,000.00 to $1,200.00.
Councilmember Lawson requested Nightingale look at the Colemen Road as it has been damaged.

Councilmember Maher would like to research a Town Dump Ordinace.
Councilmember Lawson made a motion to adjourn at 8:25 PM, second by Councilmember Luther. So carried.
